1DRSTM is a multipurpose, multiphase, reactive compositional one-dimensional reservoir simulator with thermal recovery facilities. It is designed for both exploration and production applications in the conventional and heavy oil as well as oil sand industries. 1DRSTM can be applied to many petroleum reservoir systems issues from studies of compositional and fluid property gradient variations related to petroleum charge and biodegradation over geological time to reservoir compartment monitoring or in-situ heavy oil combustion simulations on production timescales. 1DRSTM provides full physics and chemistry solutions of chemical reactions in a live oil column over geological or production timescales.
1DRSTM is the link between basin Geosciences Solutions and Engineering Solutions. The solver has been optimized to minimize computation time and to use parallel processing environments.
