Gushor Wins 2009 ASTech Award
Gushor Inc. is pleased to announce that they have won a 2009 ASTech award provided to Alberta’s top scientists and innovators. It was awarded to Gushor Inc. on November 6th, 2009, at the annual ASTech award Gala held in Calgary, Alberta. The Alberta Science and Technology Leadership Foundation received an impressive 78 nominations for the province’s most prestigious awards.
Gushor Inc. won under the category of "Outstanding Commercial Achievement in Alberta Science and Technology (gross sales <25M)".

Dr. Steve Larter Presents at The Royal Society
A University of Calgary professor was recently named a fellow of the United Kingdom’s Royal Society (http://royalsociety.org), joining the select rank of scientists with the honour, including the likes of Sir Isaac Newton and Stephen Hawking.
Petroleum geologist Steve Larter was named a fellow of the Royal Society on May 15 and will be formally accepted at a ceremony in London in mid-July. The fellowship recognizes scientific excellence over a career.
